SMALL 6 RING NOTEBOOK COVER
 


































































































 

Lining: 8" x 8" 
Batting: 7" x 10" 
Spine: 3 ½" x 8" 
Two Sides: 7 ½" x 8" 
Ribbon 1/4" 8-9" long

Sew the two side pieces to each side of the spine. 

Fold 1/4" to the inside on the side pieces and sew down the folded edge. 

Find center of book cover, batting, and lining and mark with pin or crease. 
When layering, be sure to center everything.
Layer:   Batting goes on the bottom. 
     Book cover right side up.* 
            (Fold sides of book cover back on 
            itself 3". (This will be to edge of batting.) 
     Ribbon (if desired) wrong side up. 
     Lining wrong side up. 

*Using a glue stick, put the glue on the wrong side of the book cover around edge of the batting to hold in place. 

Sew across the top and the bottom 3/8" seam. 

Turn lining to the right side. 
Turn sides right side out. 
Press with iron and fit onto the book.
